Level: Some throwing experience to IntermediateDiscover the delicate beauty and rewarding challenge of working with porcelain in this hands-on 3 hour wheel-throwing workshop. Guided by Gemma, you’ll learn essential techniques for centring, pulling, and shaping porcelain clay on the potter’s wheel.
Whether you’re fairly new to ceramics or looking to refine your skills with this gorgeous material, this immersive session offers focused time to create small vessels or forms with elegance and precision.
What You’ll Learn:
How porcelain differs from other clays
Centring and throwing techniques
Forming simple shapes such as cups, bowls, or small vases
The pieces you create will be fired and ready for you to collect in about a month, giving you a lasting memory of your pottery experience.

- Session cost: £104 per person
- Includes: 3-hour class, use of electric potter's wheel, Porcelain clay, tools, apron, refreshments (water, tea, coffee, biscuits), 1-2 pieces of pottery fired and glazed for collection.
- Excludes: Any additional pieces glazing, firing at £6 per piece. Costs for shipping if needed and unable to collect.
