Advanced Porcelain Wheel-Throwing Workshop – 3 Hours
Level: Confident at wheel-throwing - no experience of porcelain necessary.
Discover the delicate beauty and rewarding challenge of working with porcelain in this hands-on 3 hour wheel-throwing workshop. Guided by Gemma, you’ll explore how to create facetted bowls on the potter’s wheel. Your throwing skills will be stretched and loosened up to create wholly unique and exciting pieces.
 
What You’ll Learn:
Refresher on throwing in porcelain
Throwing a cyclinder, cutting clay and manipulating shapes as they spin.
 
The pieces you create will be fired and ready for you to collect in about a month, giving you a lasting memory of your pottery experience.

Session cost: £104 per person
Includes: 3-hour class, use of electric potter's wheel, Porcelain clay, tools, apron, refreshments (water, tea, coffee, biscuits), 1-2 pieces of pottery fired and glazed for collection.
Excludes: Any additional pieces glazing, firing at £6 per piece. Costs for shipping if needed and unable to collect.
