Wheel Throwing.

Welcome to the Gemma Wightman Ceramics Studio!

Join us in our beautiful, light-filled space to discover the art of wheel throwing. Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your skills, there is a course tailored for you. Learn the magic of the potter’s wheel under the expert guidance of experienced ceramicist Gemma Wightman, passionate about sharing her craft. Dive into the joy of making with your own hands and create pieces you’ll be proud of, all in our brand new state-of-the-art studio designed to inspire. We can’t wait to welcome you!

All classes are for adults only (apart from some one-off parent and child workshops, which will be announced via the email newsletter).

Choose between a private or group class and find the perfect fit for your pottery journey. Our group classes are small and intimate, with a maximum of 6 adults per class, ensuring you receive the attention you need to progress quickly and confidently on the wheel. Whether you're starting fresh or building on skills, you’ll get plenty of guidance in our friendly, supportive setting. For those looking for a more personalised experience, private classes are also available.
